Is the DoubleCover waterproof?
The DoubleCover is weather resistant, utilizing rail channels and drain tubes to move water away from the bed. Ultimately, no retracting or hinged cover is completely waterproof as there are tailgate gaps and other areas that may allow some intrusion.
What is the install time on the DoubleCover?
The DoubleCover can usually be installed in about 45 minutes.
Can I drive with the cover in the opened, hinged position?
No. When in the open position, road elements and condition will put added stress on the lift assist arms and gas props which could result in damage to your truck and cover.
Can I drive with the cover in the opened, retracted position?
Yes. The front canister design allows for the cover to be fully retracted and open while your truck is in motion.
Does the DoubleCover require the bed of my truck to be drilled into when installing?
No. The DoubleCover utilizes clamps and a no-drill installation.
Is the DoubleCover compatible with my bedliner?
Yes. The DoubleCover will work with BedRug, spray-ins and any under the rail bed liner. DoubleCover is also compatible with many aftermarket bed caps.
